You may need to resend an invitation for a few reasons:
- As part of a payroll system's multi-factor authorization (MFA) process
- To re-verify a disconnected account (a one-click, no credentials needed process)
- To connect additional accounts—the user started a new job, for example
In Reports, the Data as of field at the top of any Argyle report will indicate the last date Argyle was able to refresh data across all accounts for the user. If this date is old, you may need to resend an invitation.
In Console, the last refresh field is indicated for each account connection in the Connections card. If this date is not recent, it may mean that the user needs to be re-engaged.
- To re-establish a lost connection, click the Resend button (indicated by the circle with an arrow) in the Connections table to trigger an email and/or SMS message to the user. The user will be able to enter Argyle Link and re-establish the connection in one click (no login credentials needed).
In Encompass, the logos of individual Payroll accounts will have green circles that indicate if an ongoing connection has been maintained (filled green circle) or has been interrupted (outlined green circle).
- To re-establish a lost connection, click the Resend button to trigger an email and/or SMS message to the user. The user will be able to enter Argyle Link and re-establish the connection in one click (no login credentials needed).
User experience
The user will then receive an email and/or SMS message to complete a simple re-connection experience. After the reconnection, the data will be refreshed and all new reports will reflect the most recent data.
